CMPi UAE announces the launch of two new major events to run alongside Working Buildings Middle East, November 17-18, at ADNEC.Gulf Landscaping and Fit Out Middle East to provide combined networking platform for region’s trade professionals. Global exhibition organisers and foundation partners with ADNEC, CMPi UAE has announced the launch of a major new exhibition, Gulf Landscaping. The exhibition will take place simultaneously with Working Buildings Middle East and Fit Out Middle East, to enable visitors to source a range of services and solutions with one visit. CMPi UAE’s Group Director Chris Fountain comments:
Fit-Out Middle East will cover the commercial, residential, retail and leisure sectors. Across the GCC, the retail sector alone is expected to surpass over 100 million square feet by 2010, and there is currently over 24 million square feet of office space under development in Dubai. Gulf Landscaping will cover landscape architecture and outdoor design for individual developments in the region as well as city development. Valued at around 10% of total construction cost, the landscaping market in the region is estimated to be worth over $100 billion. Fountain adds: “The size of the Fit-Out and Landscape sectors demonstrates the importance they have in the development of the region. The co-location of these new events with Working Buildings Middle East mirrors this and provides the region with an all encompassing series of exhibitions that explores not only the way in which cities and developments will take shape but how they will function and operate as well.” Having the three exhibitions running concurrently means that facilities managers and other professionals will be able to meet potential suppliers and service providers to assist with their entire projects, from the final stages of construction through to the management of the building’s lifecycle. With less and less time available for professionals to manage their workloads, these co-location means that visitors will be able to plan their time effectively.
